Troop History

Troop 682 is born from Scouts of Pack 813. We convened on Tuesday from 7-8:30 pm and were governed by the PVUMC. We continue to meet from 7-8:30 pm and are still chartered by the PVUMC, despite the fact that a lot has changed since 1990.

Fun facts:

• Sam Barnum, a Scoutmaster who earlier oversaw Troop 160, served as the founding leader of Troop 682. 

• Troop 682 started with 12 Scouts divided into TWO patrols, Iguanas and Wolverines

• On April 2022, Troop 682G was formed with 4 Scouts 

• Marjie Quigley was our first 682G Scout master

• Emma W was elected as the first senior patrol leader for Troop 682G

• Emma W is out first Eagle Scout from  Troop 682G

• Since its inception, Troop 682 has proudly nurtured over 100 Eagle Scouts.
